the summer update

I know, I know, its been like three months since we posted anything, but that's how busy our summer was. My semester started in May and included a drawing class and a color class. Brent interned with the city of West Jordan and had a great experience there. The kids played outside a lot and tried hard not to be bored while Brent and I were busy. Our big summer outing came during Labor Day weekend. We took off to Park City for 5 days. Grandma and Grandpa T were also in town so they joined us at Swiss Days and the Soldier Hollow Classic. I didn't get a ton of pictures there, but you can check out this post from last year. The kids loved playing at the pool and we got some back to school shopping done at the outlets. But probably our favorite day was Monday when we went to the Olympic Park. If you haven't been your really should go. We loved watching the bobsled runs and there were people practicing aerial ski jumps into the practice pool. We loved riding the ski lift up to the top of the K120 ski jump. Man, would you have to have some craziness in the head to go down that thing. The museum was awesome with skiing simulators that the kids could try and lots of olympic history stuff as well as memorabilia from the 2002 olympics. If you have a lot of guts (and a lot of cash) you can ride the bobsled run, jump into the aerial practice pool, or ride a zip line down the k120 jump. Maybe someday without the kids. Well worth the trip. Anyway, here are some pics from our trip and the rest of the summer including a couple from Briggs first day of Kindergarten and Owen's first day of preschool.
The first two are a couple pics from the olympics just to give you an idea how insane these guys are.

10 years

On August 16th we celebrated our 10 Year Anniversary. It has gone by really fast, but has been a wonderful 10 years. So to celebrate here a few pics from way back when. They even had to be scanned in since our photographer was one of the old-fashioned pre-digital kind. Enjoy.
